In our
preschool program we offer classrooms that begin at age 2.9 and provide flexible
placement options which allow for optimal experiences for individual
children. The emphasis is on learning to play and playing to
learn. Children in the preschool programs are creatively involved in meeting new firends and discovering the world around them as they learn basic and self-help skills. The curriculum is developmentally appropriate project and activity based as the children learn to play, dance, sing, and draw. Younger preschool students also have an enrichment program from 1-3pm which includes a balance of rest time, stories, and creative play time.
Jr. Kindergarten Program
In a more academic
setting, Junior Kindergarten students prepare for Kindergarten by refining their small and large motor skills, increase their ability to focus on pre-reading and
writing skills, basic math and science concepts, and discover
the meaning of letter sound relationships as they asquire basic phonetic skills. We also offer our Junior Kindergarteners an enrichment program too, from 1-3pm students may continue to develop their creative, academic and physical abilities while continuing to explore the dynamics of social relationships. The program is structured and age-appropriate and students have a fun and great experience in classes like Drama, Art, Science, Health and Wellness, Physical Education, Spanish, Horticulture and Gardening. There is also flexibility for families from 1-3pm enrichment classes if you are interested in a particular club on a day your child doesn't attend.
Extended Care
We offer affordable before school hours for families who desire drop off as early as 7:30am where children enjoy free play with their peers until school begins. For longer hours in the afternoon until 5:00pm, preschool students can have fun in creative age-appropriate activities under the supervision of the faculty with indoor and outdoor exploration.
