| The Laurel School promotes
children's activities in school and outdoors that engage
the whole body and mind to encourage social growth, help
establish life-long healthy habits, a sense of self, and
a passion for learning. Evident throughout our school,
these values are intrinsic to our culture and maintained
in our environment.
We are fortunate to own a beautiful facility with spacious
land and playgrounds. At this point in our growth, we
are designing a new plan for our outside environment.
We need your help to continue with our "Field
of Dreams" campaign. Last year, we raised money
to redesign the playing field area to allow for multiple
use and environmental stewardship. In line with our
mission, we added green space for our children and children
in our community. The area will have a blend of soft
and hard surfaces, sun and shade spots, and flower and
vegetable beds. The first phase focused on a redesign
of our open land area. Our second phase is to install
a new play structure and playground soft, fall zone
surfacing. Our goal for this phase is to raise $30,000.00
which will fund this project.
There are several ways to donate and all donations

recognize that our community of friends, neighbors,
and families offer wonderful opportunities to help us
build our field of dreams. Please bring your service,

An evening of great food, fun and fundraising!
On Friday, September 24, 2010 we will be hosting our
2nd Harvest Night Fundraiser at the Ocean Edge Resort
and Golf Club from 6:00-9:30pm. Join us for hors d'oeuvres,
a three-course dinner, and a silent and live auction
with live jazz from Dan Sullivan Jazz Trio and vocalist
