The Laurel School and Laurel Day Camp's goals every year is to raise money for important structures and items needed at our facility.  The evening is our major fundraising campaign and includes a three-course gourmet dinner, entertainment, a silent auction and live auction with renowned auctioneer, and great time with friends.

2011 Gala

This year was a resounding success due to the hard work and support from all of our school community and the generosity of many other friends of The Laurel School. The attendance was overwhelming, and the bidding significant as the commitment to raise funds to build our new preschool playground and related playground soft fall zones for our school was apparent amongst those who attended. We had over 100 silent auction items, 50 grab bags, and 12 live auction packages. Overall it was a terrific event, and a great thanks to the many people who contributed to the success of the night - the auction committee members and chairperson, Ocean Edge Golf & Resort Club staff, musicians, decorators, faculty, donors, basket and bag makers, Kids Night Out counselors and, of course, all of our family and friends. After expenses, we made approximately $25,000. In addition, a portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit our 2011 Constance Michnay honorees, The Cape Cod Art Association and The Museum of Natural History. We are thankful for the amazing amount of money raised to renovate the preschool play yards. Our staff, faculty and students appreciate every penny.
